SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

We as Karaman Döküm;

  • Conducting, maintaining and improving the Social Responsibility, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management activities under a management system in accordance with the laws and regulations in force,
  • To create a positive and harmonious working environment that supports cooperation, to prevent conflict and to ensure that people with different beliefs, thoughts and opinions work in harmony,
  • Adopting a working system that prioritizes the safety and health of employees,
  • To train employees regularly for Environment, Quality, Ethical Rules, Occupational Health and Safety, to raise them awareness and to ensure their participation in practices,
  • To act in accordance with the principles and procedures of employing children and young workers and not to employ workers under the age of 18,
  • Not to employ forced and unwilling workers,
  • To provide internship opportunities for young people, not to exceed working hours, not to work at night or in dangerous conditions,
  • Employing employees and / or candidates according to their ability to do business, not by race, color, religion, language, age, ethnicity, political opinion, past conviction, disability, marital status, age, pregnancy, gender or any other discrimination; realization of remuneration, social assistance and promotions in this direction,
  • Respecting the personality and dignity of each employee and not allowing verbal, physical or psychological harassment or coercion,
  • To comply with the principle of volunteering in overtime,
  • Respecting the right of workers to join the union and to bargain collectively,
  • To comply with applicable laws and collective bargaining in determining working hours,
  • Providing social benefits to employees as specified in the collective bargaining agreement,
  • Paying salaries to the employees above the minimum wage determined by the Minimum Wage Detection Commission,
  • To act within the framework of laws and regulations in disciplinary practices,
  • To determine the risks related to occupational health and safety and to take action and to keep the risks at an acceptable level,
  • Identifying and taking action on environmental risks and keeping the risks at an acceptable level,
  • To comply with applicable environmental legislation, to prevent environmental pollution based on environmental dimensions and impact assessment and to reduce pollution at source,
  • To monitor and evaluate the social compliance activities of the supplier companies,
  • To keep the demands, needs and expectations of our Internal and External Stakeholders mutually in balance,
  • To ensure that our policy is understood and implemented at all levels of our organization,
  • We are committed to adopting a pro-active approach based on risk analysis and addressing the importance, traceability and sustainability of social responsibility in the ROI at least once a year.
